Do you want to be the one who gets it?
Unboxing History is an after-school course for curious 10-14 year-olds who want to understand what's really going on in the world around them.
Have humans worried about the climate before? Have young people ever changed history? Who decides how much work is worth? Each session starts with a real question from today or something everyone's talking about - then we unbox the past to discover how we got here.
Through storytelling, maps, timelines, and group discussions, children learn to connect the dots between different times, places, and events. They build their English vocabulary naturally while exploring history and geography, practice spotting patterns that repeat across centuries, and discover how decisions made long ago still shape their lives today.
Over time, they won't just know more facts - they'll gradually understand how to think historically, notice different perspectives, look at the world with fresh eyes, and feel confident joining conversations about what's happening around them.
Please note that this activity is free for RS students.
